Backend Software Engineer

We seek a Backend Software Engineer to take us through the second phase of our journey. You will be counted on for the reliability and security of our application that will touch millions of users across the globe.

To be successful, you will bring expert knowledge of AWS, including an understanding of EC2, ELB, auto-scaling groups, server monitoring (Cloudwatch, etc.), etc. You will need to be skilled at understanding and discussing requirements from our frontend team. You will need to understand and use containers (where appropriate), understand microservice architecture and be able to implement this approach in a scalable way. You will understand how to properly manage and route client connections, use and create bash/sh scripts, and understand processes, daemons, services. You will need to know how to properly log server activities and use different ways to make use of git for effective development.

Front End Developer

We seek a Front End Developer to take us through the second phase of our journey. You will be pivotal in developing, implementing, and optimizing a new product Decentral is bringing to market. This product will be used by millions around the globe and we will be counting on you to launch brand new features, create really cool visual elements, work with backend APIs, all while keeping customer security top of mind.

To be successful, you will write great code and develop innovative solutions. You will work alongside our UX designers to turn vision into code. You will take pride in writing beautiful, commented TypeScript. You know how to write tests and debug Javascript. As well, you will work with RESTful APIs and provide input to backend programmers about requirements for new APIs.

Product Manager / Architect

We seek a Product Manager to take us through our second phase of our journey. You will need to be able to work with the design team to ensure everything is integrated well and oversee all testing of the application. This is a purely technical, hands-on position. Coaching skills are required.

To be successful, you will need previous experience leading a product reaching millions of users, you will need know how to write code, as well bring excellent communication and influencing skills to the team. You will navigate fearlessly through challenges in a startup environment and lead the product flawlessly to ensure our consumers experience the highest quality possible. You will need to know git and how to create a product.

QA Automation Engineer

We seek a QA Automation Engineer to take us through the second phase of our journey. You will perform and execute testing throughout the development cycle and after release. You will write test cases and provide solutions using a variety of automated testing system to ensure the highest level of quality possible.

To be successful, you will problem-solve testing processes and procedures on many different devices including simulated devices. Your work will give our team confidence that our new releases will work well for our users. You will be familiar with development code and security considerations and be an expert in regression testing. You will need to analyze software in complex environments. As well, and most importantly, you will need to be flexible, adaptable, a great problem-solver, and able to communicate trends, challenges and successes to the entire Decentral team.

Techncial Support Analyst

Supporting clients, engaging with communities and stakeholders of Decentral, general office work and other drafting, editing and writing duties. Responding to technical questions posed by the cryptocurrency community about wallet products and integrations. Liaising with developer team at Decentral on technical issues.
